Frogs are dying because of pregnancy tests. In the '50s and '60s, the African frog Xenopus laevis was used as a pregnancy test. They carry a fungus which they're resistant to, but other frogs aren't - - s so when people started to ship Xenopus around the world, the fungus began massacring other frogs. And it's still going.
