On August 18th, 2019, Johnson married his longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian, but Johnson left his honeymoon early when he heard Hart had been in a car accident on September 1st.

Kevin Hart is a running enthusiast. In 2017, he completed the New York City Marathon in just over 4 hours, and in 2018, he completed the Chicago Marathon at a similar time.

His interest in running led to a deal with Nike, where he regularly leads special 5k runs in cities all over the world.
