Tight Five: Nash Flynn

Nash Flynn is a Boston-based comedian, writer, and historian. She is a producer and co-host of the online comedy show Cabin Fever Comedy and a contributor for the podcast The Poor Prole’s Almanac. She’s also a producer, writer and co-host of Death & Friends, a comedy podcast about death, which you can find anywhere you normally find things you listen to.

Wellbutrin

I just recently started on anti-depressants after years of just trying to do comedy instead. I don’t know if Cracked will let me plug drugs but I’m curious to see if this makes it to the final edit. Anyway I’ve been depressed since essentially one moment after I developed full self-awareness, but now I can at least be a semi-functional adult, which both sucks and is cool.

Death and The New World: Cross Cultural Encounters, 1492-1800

This is super nerdy but I love everything about this book. I recommend it to everyone who is even mildly speaking in my direction. Anything you want to know about deathways is inside this beauty, even if you are like ‘what are deathways?;’ that’s in there too. I didn’t even make a joke about the author’s name, which is both personal progress and a testament to how much I love this book. Also this is an Amazon link but don’t buy it from Amazon.

Daniel Sloss ‘Live Shows’

I can’t quite express how much I love watching Daniel Sloss do comedy. He’s so good it’s almost infuriating. The ‘Dark’ special is particularly perfect.
